Where coins come from
- 1Steps, after the day endsEligible steps convert at a set rate per thousand, up to the daily limit your level allows. This is the main source.
- 2Challenge prizesPaid by goal or by rank, depending on the challenge. Some are claimed by watching a short ad.
- 3The bonus hubCoin boosts for watching a short ad, limited per day.
- 4Invites and followsCoins when an invited friend reaches level 2, and once each for following us on Instagram and Facebook.
What raises the ceiling
The daily limit is the number most people want to move. XP is how you move it.
Streaks build XP
Walk your goal daily and the streak grows. Streaks pay XP, not coins. There is no streak freeze in the app.
XP raises your level
There are 25 levels. Levels only go up — a quiet week never takes one away.
Your level sets the cap
Each level lifts the most coins a single day of walking can pay. That is the whole mechanism.
What coins cannot do
Said plainly here so nobody finds out after installing.
No cash-out
Coins cannot be withdrawn, transferred or exchanged for money. There is no mechanism for it and none is planned.
No guaranteed item
What the store carries, what it costs in coins, and where it ships all change. Check the app for what is available today.
No expiry promise either way
Reward availability and terms apply. Read the item page before redeeming.
Questions about coins
Are WalkACK coins real money?
No. They are a promotional in-app reward with no cash value, and they cannot be withdrawn, transferred or exchanged for money.
Why is there a daily limit?
The app rewards a daily habit rather than one very long walk. The ceiling rises as your level rises.
Why did my coins not arrive yet?
Steps convert after the day ends, not as you walk. Open the app the next day and claim them from Home.
Is there a streak freeze?
No. Some descriptions elsewhere have said so in the past; the app has never had one. Levels only going up is the protection that does exist.
