A pedometer that uses what your phone already counts
There is no second tracker to carry and no route to start.
Your real step count
Steps come from Apple Health on iPhone, or Google Play services and Health Connect on Android. WalkACK reads them; it does not try to count them itself.
The whole day, not one number
Distance, calories and active minutes are worked out from your steps. Open any day to see it hour by hour.
A goal set by your level
Every level carries a daily step goal. Meet it consistently and both the goal and the daily coin limit rise.
What it does not do
Worth knowing before you install.
No GPS, no location
WalkACK does not request location permission on either platform and does not track where you walk.
No background counting of its own
Your phone records steps whether WalkACK is open or not. The app collects that history when you next open it.
No health claims
WalkACK is a step counter and a rewards app. It gives no medical, fitness or weight-loss advice.
Questions about the step counter
Does WalkACK count steps accurately?
WalkACK does not count steps itself — it reads the count your phone has already recorded through Apple Health or Health Connect. Its accuracy is your phone’s accuracy.
Do I need to keep the app open?
No. Your phone counts steps on its own. WalkACK collects that history the next time you open it.
Does it use GPS or drain my battery?
It does not use GPS and requests no location permission. It reads an existing step count rather than running its own sensor.
Which phones does it work on?
iPhones on iOS 15 or later, and Android phones on Android 11 or later.
